L’Occitane en Provence is a luxury and naturally sourced beauty product company whose products I adore for it’s sheer opulence and innovative research to accompany the use of natural ingredients.
During the harsh winter months, I used highly reactive ingredients such as retinol to treat my skin, however, for the spring and summer seasons, I prefer lighter, less reactive and more natural products – a required break from heavier skin care routines, to allow my skin to relax.
Personally, L’Occitane is a trusted brand, and Rubybox South Africa suggested I try out the L’Occitane new Immortelle Reset Night Serum where science and nature compliment the botanical elements of this serum.
The night serum works overnight to reveal a radiant, glowing complexion proving that L’Occitane beauty products consists of natural ingredients that are effective for skin imperfections, in this case being: fatigue, fine lines, reversing previous damage and a dull complexion.
- Marjoram Extract recovers the skin overnight for an “awake” appeal.
- Acmella Oleacera Extract fights stress and fatigue by plumping wrinkles.
- Immortelle Essential Oil with its antioxidant qualities prevents aging and promotes firmer skin.
Results are visible in week one and the active ingredients work to produce full results over 28 days.

How To Use:
Use after cleansing and toning your skin and before moisturizing at night only, reset your senses by removing any tension: massage your third eye, follow by applying the L’Occitane Immortelle reset night serum.
The serum continues to work on revealing an even, radiant skin over 28 days.
The Ingredients are natural and gentle yet effective on skin, perfect for spring and summer weather as harsher ingredients dictate staying out of the sun.
L’Occitane does not test its products on animals.
Personally, I found that over two to three days my skin needed to adjust to the serum as I woke up with an oily skin and visible pores – but this subsided after three days. I suppose this was the “detox” approach the serum adapts for your skin.
Would I use it again?
Simply put – Yes!
I loved how my skin looked and felt after just seven days.
It also was an inviting break from the chemically scented, heavy creams I’ve been using during winter – this provides a luxuriating relief with a glowing skin I love.
Additionally, my skin’s glow reminds me of the glow I had when I was in my earlier twenties!
My makeup glides on easily, saving me time in the mornings with just seven days of use.
I’m looking forward to seeing the results of this serum after 28 days.
L’Occitane skin care has delivered on another innovative, luxurious beauty product and I’m eager to try the full immortale range – you can view the gift set and other L’Occitane products here:
The gift set or travel set is a an introductory set to the brand and product if you haven’t tried L’Occitane before.
I highly recommend this product for Spring / Summer 2018.
