Skincare Brand: Cetaphil Review

Pronounced: seed – ta – phil

A leader in gentle skincare – Cetaphil, was established by a pharmacist in 1947 and includes basic skincare ranges with focus on skin irritation, hydration and environmental damage for face, body and baby.

Cetaphil Review

A firm favourite in basic skincare for many years, Cetaphil has an abundance of positive reviews from claiming to reduce acne to relieving irritated, eczema prone skin. There have been a few sensationalized reviews of why Cetaphil is bad for you – mainly because this product does contain parabens – which some believe may cause breast cancer – although there is no conclusive evidence for this. Various highly recommended drugstore and high-end skincare companies utilize parabens, and in my opinion, this isn’t a make or break ingredient for a skincare brand.

The ultimate must-have product from this brand is the Gentle Skin Cleanser– one bottle of this popular product sells every minute!
For oily or acne prone skin, the Cetaphil oily skin cleanser also comes highly recommended.

The Daily Advance Lotion is also a much-loved lotion that claims to keep skin hydrated for 24 hours.

The formula of the Cetaphil range has not changed since the launch of its first product, as it was so effective.
For those who don’t like complicated skincare – Cetaphil offers the basics for skin concerns that simply work.

Pricing & Where To Buy Cetaphil

My Recommendations:

Dry weather conditions cause dull looking; dehydrated skin and existing skin conditions such as eczema could worsen during winter.

I received a Cetaphil PR Drop, which included the following products; all of which offer the perfect solution for winter skincare rescue:

⇒ Cetaphil Daily Hydrating Lotion:

An effective ingredient hyaluronic acid is included in this formula, which helps skin retain water whilst providing hydration.

⇒ Cetaphil Extra Gentle Daily Scrub:

This Cetaphil scrub is an effective daily exfoliator, gentle enough for everyday application, which removes dead skin cells and dull looking skin.

⇒ Cetaphil Rich Hydrating Night Cream:

Strengthens skins natural moisture barrier overnight.

  • Affordable
  • Effective, highly rated skincare

  • Offers basic skincare therefore you will not find toners / serums in this range.
  • Not cruelty free

The gentle skin cleanser is a staple beauty face wash in most skin care regimens for a variety of reasons and since this product has won the attention of various beauty enthusiasts worldwide, other products from the Cetaphil range have also proven to provide positive skincare results resulting in an overall effective and trusted skincare brand.
