John Frieda recently launched a new range of products, and in conjunction with this launch I was lucky enough to receive a hamper of products best suited to my hair type, which is bleached, over – processed and frizzy hair. (Yes, such a lovely combination I have!)
My previous experience with John Frieda for hair styling was exemplary, so I was thrilled to test these particular products.
It’s important to note that John Frieda hair care products contain silicone and sulphates therefore prolonged use of these products can cause hair dehydration, as silicone coats your hair thus, not allowing the absorption of hydrating, active ingredients which actively work on nurturing your hair.
Subsequently, I use John Frieda products for styling purposes, as their products deliver.
- Provides instant results
- Perfect for achieving a particular look / style
Shampoos and conditioners are packaged in convenient tubes; overall the packaging is attractive and easily identifiable as the John Frieda brand.
Sheer Blonde High Impact Range:
What I particularly enjoy about this John Frieda tone correcting range, is that it does not turn your hair purple or grey as other variations of purple / colour shampoos do, which is perfect to achieve beach blonde hair but don’t want purple tones, hence it’s perfect for styling.
John Frieda Colour Renew Before And After:
The John Frieda sheer blonde colour renew tone correcting shampoo did feel quite abrasive and soapy so I used the hydrating masque after two successive shampoos. My blonde hair colour, after just one wash, was instantly “renewed” and even, with no brassy tones.
Frizz Ease Range:
I love curling my hair, yet, my hair becomes frizzy rather than curly and just untidy. I sampled the John Frieda Miraculous Recovery Frizz Easy shampoo and conditioner range, then curled my hair as I normally would (with my curling tong) and smoothed down with Sheer Blonde High Impact Elixir which resulted in my curls feeling soft to the touch with absolutely no fizziness, my hair stayed this way for the entire day, looking healthy and curly.
Frizz Ease Secret Agent Crème
This John Frieda flyaway tamer is my favourite product from the range I’ve been sent. I love the blow dry effect, however, after a blow-dry I have serious flyaways that ruin my hairstyle – I previously used hairspray to eliminate this problem – which isn’t ideal. However, since using the Frizz Ease Crème, just a little product tames my flyaways, my hair doesn’t feel oily and I don’t need to wash the product off my hair the next day which is a bonus.
Ease Of Use:
John Frieda hair care products are easy to use, as one would normally use a shampoo, conditioner or hair masque.
The hair elixir and crème can be applied to either wet or dry hair, for styling.
How To Use:
I would only use these products when I need to achieve a particular style for the day, as that style will be 100% achieved using suited John Frieda products.
